Sean Long
Sean is currently a junior at the University of Washington double majoring in both CEP and Political Science. He was inspired to apply to CEP because of his passion for cities and how they work, and his interest in the major’s interdisciplinary approach to studying the built environment. He is passionate about urban transport systems, especially public transit and how it can help improve urban mobility. He has lived in a total of four different cities on two different continents, and considers Seattle his favorite by a mile. In his free time, he can usually be found on his bike struggling up one of Seattle’s numerous steep hills, or travelling around greater Puget Sound by bus or train in search of tasty Asian food.
