Hillary Pham

Hillary’s focus is in Public Affairs and she wants to bridge the communication between the community & the government. Her CEP internship is at the UW’s Area 01 Community Center, a makerspace where she serves as the coordinator for the Dabble Lab. She teaches workshops at Area 01’s Dabble Lab on 3D printing technology and laser printing and cutting. Hillary has a drive for learning and working with people from all walks of life. She has a passion for public service. During Hillary’s freshman year at UW, she was a Senator representing Poplar Hall in the Associated Students of the University of Washington. Her resolution called to “Improve the Affordability of the Residential Dining Account” (R-21-9) was in response to seeing a resident move out due to high housing and food costs. After her resolution was passed through Senate and the Board of Directors, UW Housing and Food Services (HFS) responded, and the rates for the next academic year of 2015-2016 did not increase. Hillary enjoys traveling and spending time with family. In a few more elections, Hillary Pham is considering being a presidential candidate.
