Eugenie Hsueh

Eugenie Hsueh, a junior majoring in both CEP and IVA (Interdisciplinary Visual Arts), looks to combine the world of art, design, and communities together through urban design and planning. She enjoys designing things and building them up, working with medias like clay, wood, and metal gives her a chance to put her thoughts into visual objects. As an international student, her background is different from a lot of other people. Having lived in diverse cultures, consisting both Eastern and Western culture, she finds it interesting when some aspects collide while others clash. It has also come to her attention how by combining aspects of both culture really helps with building a better community. Like a lot of other people, she wants to make the world a better place, but more over, make the cities, the communities, and the neighborhoods a more enjoyable place to live in and a more intriguing place to visit.
