Position Description:
Seattle Department of Transportation is seeking an Undergraduate or Graduate level student intern to work with the Street Use Division’s GIS and Data team and HUB coordination program. This position will assist a team of 3 GIS and Data professionals by helping organize program files, align processes, provide maps and analysis for Street Use needs.
Education benefit to the student:
Student will gain experience working in enterprise systems.
Skills using ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, and Office 365.
Working with the public and with a diverse team with rapidly changing objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Respond to assigned map requests and maintain data systems from Street Use Division.
Maintain file management system and assist with file cleanup efforts.
Assist workgroups, train others on new systems, manage distribution lists, and respond to urgent needs.
Research and find solutions for program weak points.
