ENV H 305 – Environmental Poisons + Public Health

Explore How Toxicology Protects the Health of Communities
What chemical and physical hazards exist in the environment? Where do they come from, where do they go, and how do we come in contact with them or avoid them? What health effects can they cause, and how can we minimize their negative impacts? Through an exploration of five case-based modules, this course will help you critically evaluate media reports about environmental hazards to human health by applying the core principles of toxicology, the science of poisons.
